Missing or skipping miss can potentially decrease their effectiveness. However, most women do not ovulate unless they miss a week or more of pills. This means that you would have been protected at the time you had sex.
At this point there is no further action you should take. You need to simply wait till your next period.
If it is irregular it is probably because you did not take the pill regularly.
But since there is a slight possibility of pregnancy you can also take a pregnancy test to be sure.
