As you know, whenever you miss taking a birth control pill your chances of becoming pregnant increase if you've been having sex. Depending on when and what day of the month you missed taking it, your chances of pregnancy increase.
If you missed pills from day 3 through day 21 of your pack the risk is lessor, but there is still a risk unless you used a back up birth control method (i.e. condom). However, if you missed within the first 2 weeks of the pack your risk increases substantially.
