Switching pills and then stopping them can cause a disruption in your cycle. Since I do not know to details of those events, it would be difficult to say whether the hormonal changes are from the birth control pills, menopausal symptoms, or potentially both.
If you had intercourse after to you stopped taking to pills, pregnancy is also a possibility, and it may be too early to show on a home pregnancy test.
In any case, if you continue to miss you period, you should speak to your gynecologist.
