The most common cause of breast pain/ tenderness is change in hormones associated with your PMS and menstrual cycle. This is a normal body response to shifts in estrogen levels.
I'm glad to hear you've done self examinations and haven't found any lumps. You mentioned not wearing a bra. Your breast needing the support during daily activity could be attributing to the discomfort. When you do wear a bra, making sure it is fitted properly is a good practice as well.
There are even studies that indicate, having too much caffiene can cause pain in breast. So you might want to decrease your intake to see if that helps as well.
