2L per day? Most people consume much more than that with food sources, and other fluids such as soup, coffee, milk, yogurt, ice cream, fruits and vegetables, sodas, juices, the list goes on. A lot of health professionals have little to no credibility when it comes to nutrition. Do extensive research yourself. Also, seek advice from a registered dietitian. Otherwise, you may find yourself misinformed through articles of this nature. 2 liters. Ridiculous! If you sweat 2 liters per day and are only consuming 2 liters of fluid you would be chronically dehydrated.4
