Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
First of all, I want to clarify what you referred to as PRP. To my knowledge PRP stands for blood plasma that have been enriched with platelets. It can also stand for Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy which is a treatment in which the blood is enriched with platelets to accelerate the healing of bone and soft tissue.
With that said, was your husband receiving Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy while in the hospital for his feet and legs?
