Thank you for reaching out to EmpowHER! Hopefully this calms some fears - with the situation you described above you would not be pregnant. Actual intercourse must occur in order to become pregnant. Also, semen does not live outside the body, so with the time that passed in between, that would lower chances even more.

The bleeding you mentioned would have been your period. It is common for women to have irregular periods, and stress is definitely a factor that can cause that. With the stress around the possibility of pregnancy, that could have also caused the nausea. If you are still nervous, the main way to determine pregnancy is through a pregnancy test. While your chances of pregnancy are next to nothing, you can still take a pregnancy test to calm all fears.
