Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
The vaginal bleeding that occurs during pregnancy is very light that lasts a couple days. Since you are having longer periods, pregnancy is very unlikely. There are many different possible reasons of irregular periods. Some are more serious than others. The first thing I suggest you do is see a gynecologist and get a pap smear. I also recommend getting an ultrasound to check for any ovarian cysts, polyps and/or fibroids. Lastly, I suggest the gynecologist check your thyroid. Hormone imbalances at your age can by different thyroid conditions.
Below I have pasted a link with additional information about why irregular periods can occur.

I hope that helps.
