Guide

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
The emergency contraception must be taken correctly to effectively prevent pregnancy if you had intercourse. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about not taking it correct. Be aware however that you may experience side effects of the drug which can mimic pregnancy symptoms. These side effects include:
--nausea
--cramping
--tender breasts
--bleeding a few days later
--a disrupted menstrual cycle

If you get any of these symptoms it does not necessarily mean you are pregnant.
