Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
The idea of loosing one's virginity does not refer to an anatomical change. In other words, vaginal bleeding does not have anything to do with loosing virginity. Bleeding can occur the first time a girl has vaginal intercourse, but does not occur to everyone.
Physical change after the first time a girl has intercourse only occurs on the rare occasion that the hymen is still partially covering the vagina. Even when a girl's hymen does partially cover her vagina it usually opens with age and using tampons can also loosen the hymen. Thus, virginity does not refer to a physical change.
Virginity is the idea of being sexually pure, or not being touched sexually.
The spotting she is experiencing is simply the aftermath of her period. It is not related to her sexually activity.

There is a myth that a doctor can tell whether or not a girl is a virgin. This is not possible because there is not one common physical change that occurs to every girl after the first time.

I hope that helps.
