Thanks. I was reading an article online and it talked about switching pills. It said if you are switching from a progestin pill to a combination pill, you need to start taking the combination pill right after you finished the last active progestin pill. It then explained about switching to another form of a combination pill. They said to start taking the new pill pack after the last inactive pill. I wish I would have read this article before changing my birth control because I would have had some questions for my doctor. I'm relieved to know that I am still covered even though I started my new birth control pack during my old pack's placebo week.
