If you took emergency contraception (correctly) and you had bleeding you should not be pregnant. These pills are strong medicine and could cause your cycle to be irregular for a time, so keep this in mind. You should definitely be using some form of birth control and/or protection if you do not wish to become pregnant. EMC should only be used in emergencies. If you are still concerned, wait a few weeks, and take a home pregnancy test.
