I'm not sure what might be causing a tingling sensation in your abdomen. But it's not that unusual at your age for your period to be delayed or a bit irregular from time to time. I would not worry about it being late for now. If you start missing periods regularly or you are experiencing vaginal irritation, itching or unusual discharge, make an appointment with your doctor.
