Unfortunately, I cannot make such a decision for you. My advice is to make another appointment with the doctor who would be doing the surgery and go over all the details (again). Perhaps tell him or her about this Dr. Dellon and what he does and see what your doctor says. There is always a risk from any surgery, but you don't know that the surgery will fail, either.
