Normal nipple discharge more commonly occurs in both nipples and is often released when the nipples are compressed or squeezed. Both abnormal and normal nipple discharge can be clear, yellow, white, or green in color. In most cases, breast discharge is not a cause for concern, but any persistent discharge should be looked into. Bloody discharge should always be looked into. If you are concerned, it's never a bad thing to all your doctor for peace of mind.
