That depends on ovulation. An ovary will release an egg (ovulation) about 12 to 14 days before the period starts. The first day of a period, when a women start bleeding, is counted as the first day of her cycle. If she has a 28-day cycle, she would probably ovulate sometime between day 12 and day 16 of the cycle. However, some women have a shorter cycle and therefore ovulation can be different.
Anytime you have unprotected sex there is a risk pregnancy.
