An early period can be bleeding just days or weeks after the end of your last period. It can be caused by hormonal and/or lifestyle changes that disrupt the balance of your body. Stress or anxiety can release stress hormones that can alter your flow. Fatigue, tiredness or illness can leave you lacking energy and your period may become irregular. So, it could be that your period is simply off this month. That said, if you are feeling ill or having other symptoms of concern, don't hesitate to see your doctor.
