There is always (some) risk whenever you have unprotected sex. That's why it's best to use protection everytime you have sex. If he didn't ejaculate inside you, you should be ok. Only you know and he what happened - if he ejaculated on the outside entrance to your vaginal canal, that would carry some risk, though it's very low. In the future, you need to be more careful and aware.
