I took the ecp because I didn't want to risk the chance of getting pregnant. The nurse said that there was a low risk and that it was unlikely because I was on the second day of my period but she said I could take it anyway because she could see how worried I was.
Hopefully this is the only reason why my period is late.
I checked my period calendar and I had no period in June (it was 3 days late as stated in my initial message) that made my cycle 57 days (5th May and 1st July)
Thank you for putting me at ease for now until I take the pregnancy test tomorrow.
