A "normal" period is every 21-35 days so you fall into the normal range. A light period could indeed be caused by stress.
Since you know the reasons behind the changes in your cycle, you need to fix them. Pain, anger and other stress factors need to be addressed. Even if your cycle hadn't changed, you should not be living with that kind of stress and anxiety as it's very bad for a person's overall health.
Take stock of your life and eliminate these stress factors. Working with a therapist can help and you will see your cycle get back to normal and your life becoming far better.
