Shingles is not airborne in that you can catch if from being in the room or working with someone who has it, so no. Shingles is only contagious in the blister phase. Once the blisters have gone, a person is no longer contagious. The contagion lies in any liquid in the blisters. If they are dry/crusty, a person is no longer contagious. A person with blisters should not be touched without gloves.
