Bumps on the tongue are normal - they are called circumvallate pappillae. They can sometimes become enlarged due to infections, spicy foods or even vitamin deficiencies. These usually shrink back down on their own. Gargling with salt water may help. Give it a few days and see what happens.

Soaking your dentures in white vinegar and water will clean them, and so will a mix of baking soda and peroxide. Soak over night, brush well, and rinse very well to avoid after taste. This will save you money and is an effective way to properly clean dentures.
