Irregular periods are not unusual at your age. It's quite common for some girls to have irregular periods during their first year or so of menstruation. However, it's not normal to miss your period for 3 to 5 months in a row, especially if you have had a period regularly for some months before that. As you get older, your periods will become more regular.
