Knee pain can have many causes resulting from injury, bursitis, tendonitis, arthritis. One form of bursitis that effects the inner knee is, is located on the inside of the knee, just below the joint. Bursitis usually develops as the result of overuse or constant friction and stress on the bursa. This kind of bursitis is common in runners. An evaluation by a doctor is needed and likely an x-ray will be taken as well.
