While we don't have information regarding the chemical make up of certain drugs versus alcohol in to compare both, medications can also cause liver disease including fatty liver disease and cirrhosis, just like alcohol can.
Drugs like acetaminophen (like Tylenol and when mixed with alcohol and/or other drugs) can cause liver damage. Other medications like statins (for the heart) and Methotrexate (for conditions like rheumatoid arthritis) can also contribute. Some narcotic pain relievers can also cause liver damage.
Anyone using medications that could cause liver disease needs to be advised by a medical doctor before taking them.
