You made a huge and false generalization with that question!
Some men and women have a hard time communicating - for many reasons; being emotionally stunted from not being to expresses themselves in childhood or, in some cultures, men are supposed to "do and think" and not "feel". Others are simply less talkative. They show their emotions in actions rather than words. This can be frustrating for women (who like to talk!) but can be also frustrating for men who don't want to be pushed into talking about things they have little interest in talking about. This is why women form strong female bonds with each other; we're more social. Many men I know have no trouble communicating at all and I think as time goes on, society is more open to all of us expressing our feelings and thoughts without being stereotyped or criticized.
