I don't understand the Latino connection with your hot flashes.
Hot flashes are often hormonal in nature, despite your hysterectomy being 30 years ago. They can also be caused by medications - are you on any?
Do you also have a cough?
Your post isn't very clear - call your doctor for a check up for these hot flashes; some bloodwork can be done to see where you stand. Best, Susan
