Truly...thanks advance for your message.
Interesting the surgeon...intern thought not.
If you don"t mind me asking ....when did you have your surgery? and any other details of how it effects your life.
I'am living with stage 4 arthritics and the doc has recommended fusion as a TAR first recommended, changed when i told him i do miles 4 times a week on a elliptical and swim the same weekly.
I'am an active 59 year old but my ankle developed severe arthritics as a result of having my hip replaced ( other leg ) at 21. Its been great all alone however and the thought is i over compensated over the years with the pressure on the opposed leg with the ankle taking the hit.
i just got accepted for LTD and they constantly ask whats the treatment plan. i continue to say live within my means. they have given me a 2 year contract to decide. My doctor says if i was 25 pounds more i would walk. so far i can tolerate the pain. I just have given up a lot of what i did before.
kind regards
Doug
