HERWriter Guide

Hello lynea

Thank you for writing.

A metallic taste in your mouth is a type of taste disorder known medically parageusia. Common causes include (certain) medications, pregnancy, and food allergies. Some antibiotics such as Biaxin or Flagyl can cause this kind of taste.

It sounds like you may be having some sort of seizures(s) - this is something you need to speak with your doctor about immediately.

Best,
Susan
