Lungs cannot disappear from a person's body. Did you mean a lung nodule perhaps? If (initially) a CT scan showed a lung nodule that subsequently resolved, it means that this was probably just a sign of a minor infection. Check with your doctor.
Pulmonary nodules are a very common phenomenon and for the most part, represent benign scars from previous infections or spots from current infections. Pulmonary nodules can also be potential signs of an early lung cancer, so must always be evaluated.
