Since you had a period - even a light one - and a negative pregnancy test, then pregnancy is highly unlikely. An hCG level of less than 5mIU/ml is considered negative for pregnancy, and anything above 25mIU/ml is considered positive for pregnancy.
My advice is to retest today - you can use a digital over-the-counter test to know for sure. Keep us updated!
