Colonoscopic polypectomy is the removal of polyps from the colon, in order to stop them from advancing to cancer.
The reason for delayed bleeding (within a week, rather than immediately after) is generally due to the polyps being large, location of the polyps, older age or high blood pressure.
You need to report your bleeding to your doctor - he/she will recommend a treatment plan to stop this bleeding.
