If you are talking about bones like the ribs - the only real treatment for bruised ribs (and other bruised bones) is rest...and time. Don't exert yourself, lift anything heavy or do anything that could hurt your rib area. An over-the-counter pain reliever like Advil can also help. While recoveries vary, most people feel better within 3-6 weeks and are healed within 6 weeks. I hope you feel better soon.
