Because I do most of my work on my laptop, I made sure I chose the model with a matte screen (no glare). On my desktop, I have a glare filter, and a soft light on my desk to offset the glare, as well.
My optometrist suggested I opt for special lenses that help cut the glare from computer screens, as well, since I need glasses to read.
