I don't like rules but I have a couple when eating out -

If I have an appetizer, I don't have dessert (I'm too full anyway)
I take half my main course home and if I have dessert I share it.

Other than that, the sky is the limit because I probably eat out once a month. So why not splurge if it's only once a month?

Salad is always good but watch that dressing! I love salad anyway.

Appetizers are often more fattening than the main course or dessert, especially the appetizers of the deep fat variety! One of my favorites is mozzarella sticks with ranch dressing from TGI Fridays. Mmmmmmm.........So bad but yet so good!

Vegetarian/vegan restaurants have their fatty stuff too but in general they are pretty healthy. Red Robin has a great veggie burger (and the fries are delish too)

I have to stop before I have to run out to TGI's for those mozzarella sticks! I'll be thinking of them all day!
