You can have your syrup with your whole grain pancakes and waffles, just make sure it's real maple, not corn syrup. Keep the berries, too.

You can have your salsa, but make it yourself. The tomatoes and other ingredients are good. There are chips made with flax seed, and even zero cholesterol veggie chips, so you can still have your chips. Just make sure they don't contain any hydrogenated oils, trans fats or high sodium. Or, if you have a mandoline, make your own veggie chips baked in the oven.

To make your brown rice more flavorful and fun, make it into pilaf by adding diced carrot, onion and baby peas. Or, make it "Pacifico" style by adding diced red and green bell pepper and some chopped jalapeno.

Use a red or orange bell pepper as the bowl for your spinach dip (homemade, of course) or other dip for your other veggies: strips of bell pepper, sugar snap peas, carrots, rounds of summer squash or zucchini, etc.

Grape tomatoes are very cute in your salads, as well as fun to eat alone (so nice and small).

Seed a cucumber and fill it with salmon spread, hummus or your favorite filling.

Make tsaziki sauce to use instead of mayo or creamy dressing.

There are so many ways to get in your veggies without noticing.
