I had my surgery 9/29/14. I just got my walking boot last week. I'm sort of one crutch walking in it but cannot walk barefoot at all. How long did it take for the pain to lessen? This is my 5th ankle surgery and 7th surgery in my life so when it comes to pain I'm pretty tough. I can do a few things then have to sit down. This has been a rough journey and I want it to be over.
