Thank you for your post. I think many people can relate to feeling like we don't fit in. We're happy you found some belonging through yoga and meditation and now you have the opportunity to help other women by sharing your knowledge about overcoming addictive behavior and depression. I've also found yoga to be a very effective method for controlling some of my own (busy) thought processes and sleep better because of it.

Am not familiar with the Course in Miracles, though. Can you explain this a little bit more?

And while I haven't read it myself, I have a friend who has successfully overcome some of her own struggles by reading "The Power of Now". In fact, she recently sent me an article about the author who was featured in Oprah's magazine. The article was fascinating and addresses how women can help halt what some might consider negative thought patterns or behavior.
