Francine, I can definitely relate to this post. I had an 84-year-old relative go in for hip surgery and after nearly 10 straight months of repeat surgeries, infections and trying to down medication that made her sick, she decided she had enough and called in hospice.
I know stories like this are more common than we like them to be and to your point advocating for yourself and having someone advocate for your are key.
