The exact Same symptoms begin with me, i was then diagnosed with gout. some people experience gout in many different ways. Most believe that it is only in your toes, which is where mine began. Mine went undiagnosed for so long that I now how extremely painful crystal deposits in all of my joint. Gout is a simply diagnosis, however it is often mistaken for nerve, or arthritis problems. Gout, is too much uric acid in the kidneys. I'm not sure why. If the kidney just don't excrete it properly, or what. But I do know that in my case, yes it does seem as if it a nerve problem, which esentially it is, but most of the time nerve problems or pins and needle feeling, are caused by an underlying issue that is causing inflammation for one reason or another. I would strongly recommend having your kidneys tested for too much uric acid. These uric acid crystals will cause kidney stones,( which by the way are transparent , and do not show up on most x-rays or scans, but once they are passed they can tell you what kind they are) and these stones somehow also deposit into your joints, if this is the problem you need to have it taken care of soon before it spreads to your other joints.
