Easier said by someone who has someone significant in their life. Independence has it's pluses and minuses. Remember, the grass is always greener on the other side. We all want what we don't have.
I am single and after many years of being single I have come to the realization that having someone significant in my life is important. Leave it to a long,independent holiday weekend to remind me of that.
It is nice to be able to have quality time to yourself. But don't overlook the importance of a good relationship with your partner. Holidays are meant to be spent with someone,not alone.
