Could I be pregnant?

I lost my virginity 8 days ago, sex was unprotected and he cummed in me 4 times. He was on top most of the time, we did doggy and it was hardcore. I was on my period, but it was towards the end of my cycle; I was bleeding during intercourse (it was my period not my virginity because I broke that when being fingered. Within 3 hours I had taken the morning after pill. The next day I bled a little dark, red thick blood and I didn't bleed after that. Since then I have felt extremely bloated and gassy, I even hear my stomach grumbelling. I wanted to take a pregnancy test but was told it wouldn't be accurate because I'm 3 weeks away from my period. Could I be pregnant? Please help, I'm really scared!

Phew! Yay!! You are SO welcome Zee. As I said, I've been there and this will be the happiest period EVER. I don't think I've ever been so relieved to have cramps before in my life!! Good luck with...life!

If its sticky brown lining--that might just be vaginal discharge. It happens after your period, or when you're ovulating--which you might be!

You can read some good descriptions of vaginal discharge here: http://www.pamf.org/teen/health/femalehealth/discharge.html

Hopefully that helps. Keep me posted on how you are. Here to talk if you need it!! Best of luck!.

It only happened once. I'm just finding regular brown sticky discharge, hopefully it's the lining and the beginning of my period, although it has happened for several days now and still no sign of my period. I just don't want to go through with an abortion :(

Honestly, I can't say off a description. :( Sorry. Are you still finding a dark red stain in your knickers? How many days has it been?

What do you think the staining could be?
Thanks for your advice, I really appreciate it.

There are some pregnancy tests that can detect pregnancy up to four days before a missed period (First Response is pretty good) and at home pregnancy tests are up to 99% accurate on the day you're expecting your period so you can take one then too. I know the waiting can get difficult and sometimes you can stress over it so much that you delay your own period! Also, Plan B can mess up your cycle for the next couple of months or so, so it might not come exactly when expected. I am a little worried about your brown staining and suggest that you get it checked out if your cramping gets severely worse, or it doesn't resolve itself. You might be ovulating so that might be the cause of your cramps.

Maybe someone else with a little more experience can chime in?
Good luck!!

Do you reckon I should just wait for my period, if it doesn't come a week after it's due date I do a pregnancy test?

November 16, 2011 - 1:43pm

Hmmm. Yeah, that's not your period, and it doesn't sound like normal discharge which can range in color from clear to white during your cycle. You might want to get checked out by a doctor and make sure that everything is ok.
