My boyfriend thinks sex is degrading. He says he loves me therefore he doesnt want to have sex with me. It dirtys me, according to him. He enjoys having sexual thoughts about random women on the streets. He'd prefer to have sex with them instead but refuses to because he doesnt want to cheat on me.

Thank you so much Rosa :). Guess what?!?! A miracle happened today, out of the blue! I asked him if i could just touch him (not sexually at all, just be in contact with him, as I'm a touchy person) and so I decided to give him a foot rub. After that, he pulled me up to lay on top of him just cuddling and soaking up his scent. He took me by surprise when he caressed my head, kissed me on the lips and shifted to where i was laying down. He proceeded to gently make love to me and it was...beautiful! I don't know where it came from, but it was a very loving, wonderful act...It was breathtaking! I wish I knew what changed in his mind.

So glad to hear that he can still be spontaneous! Sounds like foot rubs might be a turn on for him.

Cobaltsea,

I'm sorry to hear that you and your boyfriend are not on the same page as far as sex goes. Unfortunately, you can't "make" someone have sex with you or want to have sex with you. It sounds like your boyfriend may have some deep-rooted issues with women that he may need to work on first. Has he ever been in therapy for this? Or is it something new?

For now, you can stand by his side if he decides to get some help for those "dirty" thoughts he feels about you when you have sex or if he is unwilling to admit that anything is wrong you may have to reconsider your relationship and where it is going unless this is something you are willing to live with (or without).

Best Wishes!
