The first week of November I experience a large increase in CM a more milky-white, odorless and thick discharge and a lot of it! I have never before experienced such thing.
The discharge is still persisting with increased amounts but seem to be more wet and slippery feeling like I have gotten my period but didn’t. (sorry if TMI). I have been experiencing frequent urination, dizziness, EXTREAME tiredness (almost sleeping 12 hours a day) along with headaches some dizziness and shortness of breath. The last few days after eating a small snack I’ve been having a high heart-rate which is quite unusual. The pregnancy test I took 5 days ago was Negative. Do you have any advice on if this is a possible pregnancy?

One more thing to add.. last night tossed and turned and couldn't fall asleep! began getting a dry mouth all of a sudden and nauseaus and had headache. I had to get up and take small steps for half an hour. also had a weird undescribable feeling on my left side. nothing i ever felt before just below my rib.

Just as an update.. This morning i noticed a bleedng as if it were a light period pinkish in color but now brown. I'm experiencing small amounts of stomach discomfort/cramps. anything?? i know i've been stressed out recently, could that be the cause of anything?

Hello,
Never tracked my cycles. Concerned at the dischage because as i stated before this is an unusual one for me. i've never experieced such thing. Along with symptoms such as frequent urination increased heart-rate headache and dizziness all of a sudden... Just brings up a curiosity-flag in my mind. I'm super focused not in hopes of pregnancy but because i know my body and it's out of the norm.
Thanks

Hi Diane.
Thank you for responding to my question.
Last month i had gotten my period a week early around the 19h of October. It took me off guard and i didn't remember to mark the exact date. it was although unusually longer. I ususally have my period for 3-4 days if it helps.
I was sexually active on Oct. 24th and 25th and Nov 7th and 8th. I am feeling okay otherwise. still tired, headaches occur often and the slippery mucus hasn't gone. My mood has been off and on recently between upset, mad and confused.
I tested on the 15h which i believe would be too early if i did conceive on the 7th or 8th.
I would love to know what may be the cause of the symptoms.

Hi,
If your period started around October 19th (doesn't matter how long it is, just the first day), and today is November 19th, then you are about on day 31 in your cycle. ("day 1" starts with the first day of bleeding). Are your cycles usually regular, and if so, how long are your cycles (most women's cycles range between 21-35 days).

Your period could still be on its way, but it is important to know when you were expecting your period. Only when your expected period has come-and-gone without an appearance is when you can use a home pregnancy test for accurate results.

The symptoms you are experiencing can be anything, as Diane mentioned. The first pregnancy sign this early is usually a missed period, as all other symtpoms are so slight or are so vague that they could be anything. For example, most of the symptoms you described could be hormone related, but is that hormone-related from upcoming period or early pregnancy? It may be too early to tell, and the only definite sign is a missed period and positive pregnancy test, unfortunately. Other symptoms are broad/vague as well, and could indicate any type of hormone-change or a flu, cold, digestive trouble, not-enough sleep, stress, anxiety...or a combination of all of these.

Are you trying to become pregnant? It sounds like you may be tracking your CM, and I'm wondering if you are also tracking your cycles (date of last menstrual period, or LMP, and how long your cycles usually are). You can read more about the changes in your cervical mucus, and what it means, at EmpowHer's Fertility and Menstrual Cycle page.

I guess the main question now is: how concerned are you about your symptoms?
- Are they severe and you feel there is no explanation for them?
- Or, are you super-focused on your symptoms in hopes of being pregnant?

Kovie,

Welcome to EmpowHer, and thank you so much for your question?

Kovie, do you know the first day of your last period?

And what date(s) did you have unprotected sex?

And how long do you normally go between periods?

The answers to those three questions would help a lot in terms of figuring out whether you might be pregnant. The increase in cervical mucus, and then the change to the slippery, clearer mucus is normal -- and are signs that you are ovulating. (The sticky mucus is present before you ovulate; the clear, slippery mucus is present when you are ovulating, and it allows the sperm to get through).

Some of your symptoms are consistent with possible signs of early pregnancy, but others aren't, particularly. Are you feeling well otherwise? Because some of the symptoms (headache, nausea) also are compatible with early flu symptoms. You might have two different things going on at once.

What day of your cycle was it when you took the home pregnancy test?
