plan b and iregular periods

i took planon jan 29 an hour after unprotected sex i got my period on february 10 it was normal and lastd 4 days had very heavy bleeding.then i got my period on march 4 it started light then got heavy then light again today is the 10th day on my period well for the past 5 days iv only been spotting but its very red and bout the size of 3 quorters it happens only once a day and then the same thing the next day... Could this be because of the plan b.. and also i sarted takig camila birth control the day after i took plan b... or could i be pregnant??? someone please answe im really worried

Hi maria90,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  The changes in your period can be due to either Plan B or your new birth control.  Some of the side effects for Plan B are changes in your next period.  If you are still concened, it might be good to take a home pregnancy test.  If you had your period it's very unlikely you will be pregnant.

thank you daisy for your reply i really apreciate it well i did a pregnancy test wich was negative and for the past two days ive had what i consider a period.. it has been really heavy with large blood clots and cramps.. i have scheduled an appt with my obgyn for next week hopefully he has answers for me.... thank you very much
