As Alison has already explained, you can't be pregnant and have your period. As far as it being heavy, changes in flow are perfectly normal.

What about. Implantation bleeding? Is that heavy or light??

Laney,
Implantation is very light-- it isn't even red blood but more like a pink tinge. If you have heavy bleeding you have your period.

I am not sure what "messing around" entails, but when you have your menstrual period, it means you are not pregnant.
Many women have asked about bleeding and menstrual period as not necessarily being indicators that you are not pregnant. Please know that if you were expecting your menstrual period at a specific time, it started at/near that time, your bleeding is similar to other periods...this all means it is your period, and indicates that you are not pregnant.
