Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

We are unaware of any side effects of both these vaccines being taken together. as opposed to the singular side effects of a flu shot like soreness at the injection site, headache, fever and body pain. For shingles, the side effects can be soreness at the injection site, headache, a possible skin rash and changes in bowel habits. Your doctor can advise you about taking the two at the same time.

Best,
Susan
