I know this sounds like a really odd question but when I was growing up, wearing a bra all the time (including in bed) was considered unhealthy. I'm not even sure why!
Now that I have breastfed several children and am a grown woman, I read that it's actually good for breast support and to keep breasts as, well, perky as possible!
I tend to be more comfortable with as much support as possible and tend to always wear a bra (cute ones!)unless I am in the shower -or fooling around but I won't realy go there :)
Is this ok? Why would it not be?

I can't help, but laugh when ''experts'' (usually male ones - let me get it straight, I don't give a fuck if you are a doctor, a surgeon, a therapist, whatever - if you are a man, you have NEVER worn a bra, hence you have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to call yourself an expert on the topic) say wearing a bra at night provides comfort. WHAAAAAAAAT? Dude, ever worn that torture instrument that tries to suffocate you all the time? No? Then keep your opinion for yourself. I, as a woman who wears a bra during the day, will keep taking it off immediately when I get home. It is my home, I have the right to breathe. Literally.

I saw a study recently that suggested that continuous support is actually bad for long-term breast health and that women who always wear a bra tend to sag more. As a runner for nearly 35 years (5'0", 98 lbs, 34B) I have worried about the effects of running since I was 14. For reasons of comfort have worn as little support as necessary. I am shocked every day that I remain the same size, shape and perkiness as I had in my twenties so it was very interesting to read that article last year.

I'm the same size and I am finding that they are not falling at all. I think it's just in the genes whether or not they go south.

My breasts are naturally not perks due to the size, I'm a 30FF. However they are firm and not saggy. On one hand I can imagine would start sagging early if I was to go long periods without wearing a bra especially during physical activity. However I find it very difficult to sleep in a bra, its very uncomfortable, to be honest its quite uncomfortable wearing one throughout the day I need to breath. Bit of a pickle really.

I've worn sports bras as my primary bra. I'm a 34 D and cannot stand real bras for more than a few hours because they pinch where the cup meets the strap infront of my shoulder. Haven't yet found a style or brand that's comfortable as well as cute. I hope my sports bra habbit won't cause me problems.
