You're welcome. I just had a pregnancy scare myself and joined Empowher just to get reassured--so you're not the first! Spotting vs. Period was another one of my questions. Spotting is pretty light in terms of flow, a couple of drops here and there and it's a bit too coincidental to get it when you're due for your period, but everything else online seemed pretty ambiguous, so I was wondering about it too, but it seems like you're fine! No babies! Yay. Breathe deep and enjoy.

Was there any genital contact? If not, you're safe. Actually--you're probably safe either way because you already got your period. It was probably late because you were stressing about possibly being pregnant. If you're still worried about it though, you can take a pregnancy test, but I think you're ok.
