My best girlfriend had protected sex she has irregular periods, but according to her phone app calculator she was fertile when she had sex this month on the 14th. Her boyfriend wore a condom he had pre *** but he didn't finish inside of her with the condom. She always second guesses herself so they bought next choice one dose pill after there protected sex she took it within 3 hours after sex. How sure is that she isn't pregnant? Can she be pregnant? Help?

Dear Anon,

While there is always a slight possibility of pregnancy when sex is involved, it is unlikely if she used protection and also took the morning after pill. She may have a change in period due to the morning after pill but this is a side effect of the pill, not a sign of pregnancy.

All the best,
